In this workshop, you’ll go beyond the basics of GraphQL to learn about some of the commonly used tools and techniques that will help you build powerful applications at scale. We’ll start by diving deeper into GraphQL subscriptions on the server and the client. Then we’ll discuss tools from the GraphQL ecosystem that can be used to streamline your workflow like codegen, TypeScript integration, and advanced Apollo Client techniques. Finally, we’ll do a deep dive on Apollo Federation to get an understanding of how to orchestrate a collection of GraphQL APIs under a single GraphQL gateway.
Students can expect a lot of hands-on activities to reinforce these topics.
